I've completed the grid and have the letters - but I have only needed to 'alter' nine cells (in six down). What am I missing?

Have you all got the 13 letters?

yes jogamel - two words, one French.

I have one missing. Is there one in 1d? And I keep messing up the order

Well,it's in 1D and18A.

I have shaded the letters in the actual words in the grid to make it easy to read (Am I stating the obvious?)

Correction to one of my posts above. I see now that it's not a french word.

Also, I now see that none of the cells to be altered are in 6D.
Grovelling apologies if I have sent anyone in the wrong direction.

Are we supposed to leave them blank then?

Typical Nimrod-era Inquisitor ambiguity once again.

Plus, Eurotunnel isn't even a thing, it's a company. And those aren't the termini even if it were.
