Hi Ginge -
This is what seems like my weekly question for you! I do not understand the instruction ' Each light includes a different word which must be represented in just one unchecked square'. Can you enlighten me . The answers to other posts haven't helped much so could you please give me a general hand up here. Thanks again

Farr, you're looking for two/three word phrases which include a number from one to nine which has to be put in an unchecked square (so that it's not a problem for other clues).
Hope this helps.

I'm glad I'm not the only one struggling to follow.

Could you give an example - say 1d where I have
?ME?S?O?RI?

That is the trickiest one!

15 Was the easiest example. From the clues I had ?pac?
The number could go at the beginning or the end, but here it's at the front - ? ( a number ) pack.

Rosie, all your letters are ok. This one is three words and the number comes first - the answer is a traditional game.

I'm glad, Rosie. (And I wasn't being unhelpful with your earlier post - I know you're a regular Spectator solver and I thought you'd enjoy getting that strange answer yourself.)
