I've just received an email from Paul saying he's having trouble being verified and can I post this clue for him.
So this is Paul's clue:

Aargh! After all this muckng about the lateness of the hour caused me to have an extra "r" in my clue -
Corrected would be

Feminist is one new e.g. - Flirt? Outrageous! (6,4)

Fit new gel gets excited by right-on feminist (4,6)

Put Best Foot forward (4,6)

Not sure about the "rules" when juxtaposing someone's name - it kind of gives the game away.
