Have just discovered this forum...we usually love Auracaria but this one is very difficult. Struggling with 25 across, any ideas anybody? Not an answer just a hint would be much appreciated!

I have to say this has been a real bugger... I've finished it but would appreciate confirmation of 6a "Sticker, say, in reverse (5)" which I think is WEDGE based on WED as the unclued abbreviation and GE being e.g. in reverse. What I don't understand is WEDGE=sticker so would appreciate some help on this...

A Wedge is a golf club (also known as a Stick)..maybe this is the link?..not 100% sure

Hi SimonG...take your point..maybe is just a simple explanation that a Wedge is something you use to Stick (Jam) something so it doesnt move...who knows!
