Excuse me poking my nose in.
Jazzgirl, do you know if you install Firefox as a browser, it comes with built-in Adblock?
So, if you were away and used Firefox you would not get meerkats.

Hi rusty
I have firefox and google chrome on my laptop at home, but I cannot download it to iPad as it only accepts Safari mobile as browser.(as far as I am aware) I have just swatted a few more Meerkats ;( Thanks anyway

That's fine, Jazzgirl!
I did see an ad for Firefox for iPad, but there are several different ones.
I did think they all ran on Safari.

I heard that Firefox are aiming to permit their browser on iPads this year, so fingers crossed.

Can you not use AdBlock? I have it in Google Chrome on one laptop and in Windows on a second laptop. Since I installed it on this laptop it has blocked 161, 451 advertisements - that's quite a lot of meerkats!

hi Brackendale
I do use a block on my laptop. But this weekend, I have only use of iPad as I am away from home.. I have a blocker on iPad, but after a few hours' use it becomes a problem and I have to cut it off.

Ah well, you'll just have to put up with the meerkats - or stay at home!

Hi, jazzgirl.
I installed an ad blocker in my iPad as per your advice and haven't had any trouble since.
