she may have changed the spelling to join equity? I have also heard of the name Six but not sure it is real. Tom six (calls himself a film director) and a character called Nicola Six in a Martin Amis novel.

I (possibly wrongly) pronounce "X" as "ex".
To me, that would give W IX phonetically as " Wiex" or "Wiecks", not " Wicks".
I think I shall go for a walk to clear my brain!

I would pronounce X as ex too.
But that would change with the i in front (at least for me)

Indeed AB. I remember my Grandmother smoking Kensitas and I collected cards from this and other companies. I remember Jenkyn the butler ?
