You're right. It is no longer fun. I was teaching my young grand-daughter how to solve cryptic crosswords but no longer!

Belated thanks to Jazzgirl and Chaucer 49 ( 4 of 18) - been mowing the lawn!

It's a bit like the quiz master who thinks if he asks really hard questions and you get them wrong that it makes him look smart

Glad I'm not the only person who doesn't
like it.

Oh! well, I liked it! I've enjoyed the last few weeks better as the crosswords have been more of a challenge!
Saying that, I've still got a couple to parse...but I'm still working on that....!

Thank you, Mamya - and you know how I 've struggled to get on top of cryptic crosswords - I just like to have to think hard and try to work it out.....I don't always manage it as you know!!!
