Just about finished in time for tomorrow's. Some fiendish clues in there.

Still not quite sure on the parsing of 6D, 10D and maybe 31D. The synonyms/entries are clear. Can anyone give me a nudge?

6d CAL in TENT. C extra. CAL = almost CALL (cry)

10d REYE about SIT, Y extra, REYE as in Reye's syndrome


31d movement = STIR, outside of nest = NT. bird = STINT, R extra.

6d tent is the wine with (C) al(l) cry almost inside
10d reye is the paediatrician with sit inside
31d stilt is the bird with n for nest

some extra letters in there + the usual ones to be removed before entry

31d - kilgore's is correct

Sorry, I was completely confused, referring to this week's Speccie! Apologies!

Didn't know that meaning of TENT or Reye's Syndrome.

I thought 'bird' = time in prison = STINT but was right not to be convinced. Makes much more sense that STINT is also an actual bird!
