Yes yes yes but no.
Character is the definition
DIS is indeed seen in the middle of Kurdistan
POSITION is that "in the middle" as well.
Is that a double use OR am I still adrift?

I simply see it as - What's central to Kurdistan? - note the QM

.... the position of "dis" , or dis position which can be synonymous with character.
