Alas Jazzgirl no such luck. It seems Dorchester is the only hospital in our area that does spinal operations hence the particularly long waiting times.

Redcoral, it might well be worth contacting the Hospital CEO (Chief Executive Officer) about this delay if the fault was initially theirs.
He/ she might well be able to move matters along for you.

Re hospital I'll try the CEO this week but I rather doubt whether I shall get much joy!!

if you are thinking of TALKING to the CEO first, I should send a letter , too, as back up - that will have to be acknowledged in WRITING!
If you stress that the delay was due to their losing your records, then the CEO should be able to help.
