Hi all, I, like you richardh, am often still muddling along with the jumbo well into the week. It's my absolute favourite crossword of all and this week's was a delight for me as, for once, I, with my trusty dictionary and thesaurus (can't manage without!) was able to finish before the end of the weekend. I'd never heard of Chagall but the answer was given in the clue, so now I know the name of another artist! I was stuck for ages on my one last annoying clue. I was about to ask for help with 16a as I didn't even understand the clue and all I could see as a possible answer was tug or tag show. Then I realised 1d wasn't "unsettled" but "unsaddled"! ...therefore... Dog show! (Doh!)
