Mr croft, 30a is only five Letters, starting with L As to 19d and 12a, I am no further on than you.

Very frustrating. I have the answers in the right places but still no wiser about the blanks.
Presuming it's something to do with demonstrating 1/6?

I've no longer got the paper, but it sounds as if you're almost there. The blanks follow on from the two words mentioned in the earlier (multiple times) post - ie the 12 and 19 (forgot to jot down the details before typing this, sorry). You're correct about demonstrating 1/6 - all it is is in relation to (types of) crosswords.

Glad you got there, nelson - I wasn't overly impressed with this one and was glad to see the back of it (eventually!)
