How does MARPLE work, kepple? - the S in PALMERS spoils the anagram.

I've already put x-word in envelope and sealed it, so don't recall whether clue just said Palmer or Palmer's with an apostrophe. But Miss Marple is certainly a tec! Hope that helps.
