19d: he gets back for a quarter past six in a fiery mood (7 letters). I have a?????r. Can anyone help me? There may be a redundant letter in the wordplay......

I've got Avenger, but I'm not totally sure of the word play. I think it's 'anger', fiery mood+v/see+e/quarter.

Yes, I'm almost certain it's the right answer - 'he gets back' = Avenger - but I didn't do anything re the redundant single letters, so I might have missed something!

It's not v for see but vi for six and i is a redundant letter.

This could well be wrong... I just wrote down all the normally clued answers and looked at them. Only one seemed a definite possible for highlighting!
