Is that an example of America's sphere of influence?

We have the New Yorker calendar and sometimes it really starts the day with a smile

I have a box of New Yorker cat cartoon notelets. They are always received with great pleasure. Mags

A little background (teehee) information: the supercilious ixion contends that the American derriere is large enough to have its own gravitational field.

I can think of quite a few American ladies who have no derriere to speak of!
Being a family history nut or bore, depending on point of view, many years ago I was meeting (for the first time) a far flung cousin. In our family, some ladies have what is politely called a "Sunderland bottom". Not myself, naturally. I saw a small, quite dumpy, woman hurrying away, not where we'd agreed to meet, and I knew from her-um- back view -that she was the lady I was meeting. And it was.

I think it all started with clip of an average American "Family Guy"...

It made me smile too.
I've forwarded it to my elder son who blames his father for some of his physical attributes.... although they do both have very neat behinds!
