Hi helena,

Don't despair as this is a Hogmanay special from The Herald. There are 15 clues which have no clue (if that makes sense) but are linked with a common theme. You are not told what the theme is just the number of letters in the answer. The remaining clues are all general knowledge, most of which I hope to find on Google as I have only just started this one.

sorry helena if you dont know the herald (formerly known as the glasgow herald) you would find it hard to understand. This years is so-called general knowledge with so many clues listed under a topical theme which you have to work out. anyone else out there I was sick in bed over Xmas and didnt by my herald. Was there a christmas jumbo this year or not cos I can always order a back issue
