sorry helena if you dont know the herald (formerly known as the glasgow herald) you would find it hard to understand. This years is so-called general knowledge with so many clues listed under a topical theme which you have to work out. anyone else out there I was sick in bed over Xmas and didnt by my herald. Was there a christmas jumbo this year or not cos I can always order a back issue

thank emhsx its the first one i have missed since i was 14 and thats too many years to admit to. was it a good one cos it will cost £5.99 for the back copy. Not that i'm a skinflint just over the years some of them have not been so good and was it cryptic
