I've come unstuck somewhere.

Have all 4 answers for my five letter words (D, Y, V, Z)
the latter 3 of which are themed and the first is a normal clue.

Only problem is none of the 4 of them fit into the downwards clue in the SW corner (the space is ?E??? - with the E coming from the F clue (seen with fred - oddly makes one invisible (4-4).

Could someone give me an indication of whether I have the F clue in the wrong place, or which of D, V, Y or Z is supposed to go there.

Many thanks.

Gespar: it's the Z one. Think alphabet code + anagram=greek letters!

Aha, yes - I'd stupidly got the theme answer and the other answer the wrong way round, very daft of me.

I'm just teetering on the edge of putting the eleven letters answers in. Could someone just tell me if I'm right or wrong?
Grid A - Across is the one beginning with P.
Grid B- Across is the one beginning with B.
Thanks

You are correct.

I have them all apart from B in the A grid. Any hints appreciated!

B in the A grid is a champagne bottle size named after a Babylonian king, like most bottle sizes, (except Magnum - named after a US TV detective). The same name (the same king?) was one of the three kings visiting Christ in the stable and also an obscure character in Romeo and Juliet.
