Hi chrise yes it was me but I didnt see it. But did read the rules and went back to beginning of peer review and then got it. I am really struggling this week, with this crossword as you know I am really useless at them. But I will keep trying. Hows the sunny North today? Its dull and cloudy in the South West. Poor people who are heading this way for the bank holiday! Please can you help me with this one. Larks fly south without notice (9)

I have to come down to Devon next week (for a funeral, unfortunately).
Is your larks clue across or down? Fly south might mean read it upwards (though on reflection it probably doesn't),
I had to look up your Elanoides - it doesn't look likely, though it is a bird!
