Bit of a false start this week! I had "unlid" for 24ac and hence "baking tin" for 14dn (I know it doesn't make sense). Things only got back on the rails when I solved 16ac; thereafter it was straightforward, though I did need to search for the actress and the drama series.

Good day RTers. I've still not finished after an hour, as 13d is puzzling me even though I have every other letter. !6a yet to do, but will have another coffee and see if that inspires. I thought 17d was clever, but only after I had a synonym and then tried to parse it

Wherever you live you could have heard me then - two ads wiped out everything I`d written !
Jazzgirl - 13d is a geographical feature (I expect you`ve got it now) Still puzzling over 15 ac. I have all the crossings.
What has `Jack` got to do with 10 d ? There was a Tv show but I don`t remember `Jack` ! Mags.

Hi Mags
15a def. features/views
10d I took Jack to be in a particular card suit. The TV show was American as far as I remember.

Thanks Jazzgirl. It was the `kiss` that puzzled me - now I see! Mags.

I'd like confirmation of my answer to 19d. I have A for the first letter and guess it is one in Winchester cathedral, but surely there is one in all other cathedrals/churches. Maybe I've gone wrong ?
