Good day everybody - bit late getting to this weeks RT crossword. Unsure of 17D " Different reading from under-5 song book" *a*i*n*. Possibly starts with V ? But can't parse the song books. Further clues appreciated.

I am amazed to read that some of you have managed to exchange postal addresses. A lot of trouble was caused to one of the earlier contributors who revealed his postal address on the Island of Arran. He never came back again and then we were all made to register.

Back to crosswords!! I am stuck on 20A Daughter from Haifa, 23A Celery in viscous liquid and 15A Loudly kissed buffoon`s etc etc. Other small ones too but maybe if I get these large ones the others will fall into place.

Les40 created an Email address specifically for the Jint Effort. Those of us interested used this to send him our Email addresses - since then he has put afew of us in touch with each other.

Your other one is a (horrible!) "sounds like", using a slightly less familiar synonym for "kiss".

Chrise - that is very interesting about Les40 being a point of contact for email addresses. I was obviously mistaken in thinking it was postal addresses. Will keep this in mind if I ever wish to use it.
