Thank you both. The clue for the French is 2 words but that must be correct as I had put that in earlier. Will now look up DOUCEUR as not a word I know.

I think that Languedoc was originallyy "Langue d'oc" - the language of the peoople who used 'oc' to mean 'yes'.
