Any chance of getting the answer (please)?

Could this be a mixture of the word "strike"?
If he got three strikes in baseball in the morning he would be out, and told to sit down. If he was ten pin bowling and got three strikes that would be good play and he would be applauded. If he was playing with matches at might and struck one, the police would be called?

ab - I think you are correct - a mix of the word strike. Sound right to me apart from the night one. Wish we could get the answer (please).

One definition of strike can be....hit hard.

Synonyms include ....assault,punch, slap or wallop ..


.....surely a police matter.....
