It's a bit early in the morning. I was thinking of an actual drink - I get it now. Thanks again for your help.

38. It's a film from years ago although I must admit I didn't get the 'Roger bit'

50. It's a person on board a merchant ship, the name of a chair and Byron's dog

52. It's an anagram of Carol and gold and Dean doesn't refer to a particular person, think religious man.

53. I really liked this answer. I think it was Australian slang. Something a coffin is placed on with street going back in the middle of it.

Hope these hints are helpful

Of course! Sometimes you know you have a correct answer without being able to dot all the i's and cross the t's. Thanks.

It sounds like you have 50. correct.

38. What more can I say about 38? The layer of society made up of lords/ladies but removing R for Roger. Quite a well-known film.

I did a count up and had one more dog than cat. Panic. But I managed to sort it out.

Yes 13. is a dog. Quiet - how it is expressed in musical terms, well just the first letter. Then a lovely word to express many. Answer is a dog that takes a lot of grooming in a parlour.
