I have never been able to play cricket but 2 years ago was conned into being the President of our local club. I learn't a bit about the game that year...even how to score. I played schoolboy rugby for many years as a break away, these days know as a flanker. One of my sons has been playing league since he was 6 and over the years has won many selections for "rep" teams and sporting academies. Last year Australian Rugby Union approached him to join there super 7's academy even though he has never played the game.
