I know I have posted some of these previous but I have exhausted all my thought and reasoning on the last few, but I am still unable to complete, new advice or just the answers would stop me from pulling my hair (well what little I have left) All answers have a colour in the answer thank-you

1. Look out for an angling fly (7)
2. Staid flower (8)
3. A proverb (6,2,6,3,7,2,6)
4. More angry flower (4,6)
5. Not big, black or cow (6,5,4) All I can get is "little white bull" but this does not appear to be correct
6.Water, especially when a source of power (5,4) aging I think this maybe "white heat" (A James Cagney film) but again not sure why

Thanks for all your help over the past weeks and hopefully this will be the last, well until next time

You're welcome. I think 6) might be ????? BLUE, but can't think of a good first word. I think LITTLE WHITE BULL is OK for 5) or you could try LITTLE WHITE PONY. I'm not a fisherman, so have no ideas on 1) at all.
