1st one - cave ia a word of warning - look out is a warning

Hi.

Observation post in cave = look out. .. Latin word 'cave' means 'beware' or 'look out!'

This sloth originated oddly with dog = inertia ... anagram of 'originated' minus anagram of 'dog'
