Our tree is still up and the julbok is still grazing in the kitchen, and I haven't been zapped yet.

I honor Thor every Thursday. If you think the Yule Goat is a bit odd, it's nothing compared to the custom of watching Donald Duck cartoons on Christmas Eve. A few years ago Swedish TV was going to discontinue showing them and this prompted a national uproar. Even Americans aren't that weird.

Learning something new every day: I learned yesterday that the vicar wears a golden cassock just once a year, on the feast of the Epiphany. .... well, you never know when that little snippet of info will come in useful ! Happy New Year everyone
