thanks again Jim C and suzie, still cant work out the 150 faces, got as far as the cl....... and cant figure the rest, cloak, clog, ??????????????

Well I tried CLOAKS and CLOGS but didn't like either of them. Can't find anything else though.

just a thought on the last one.

how many questions are there to this quiz?if there is 150 or more it may relate to this clue/question if you understand my train of thought.

had thought of that one but wasnt convinced

FACES could be AIRS or ANGLES, so are CLAIRS or CLANGLES articles of clothing perhaps? I'm a bit concerned of what could happen to vital parts of my body if I wore CLANGLES, but it might be worth a try.
