that's all very well but you still need the word "a" in the clue for it to work.
i was thinking simply your Ma and Pa were lovers (at least once).
it has to be A Ma to replace the "i" in discus, not just Ma?

Yes, you are right turast. I was so intent on showing that the "a" was there, I left out the "one"!. sorry all.
