Virtual cakes aren't rationed, so here's yours -
It's a very light, citrusy sponge with pale frosting. The decoration is the thing , a silver filigree box (inedible!) with an open lid, out of which spills a collection of spring flowers- daffodils, primroses and freesias, with the odd sprig of gypsofila (the stems have to be real but everything else is edible, thought not particularly palatable.)
I once made this but, unless Les40 comes to my aid again, I can't show you.
There are a few petals and leaves at the base of the cake. Because I like a visual joke, one or two of the leaves have their edges nibbled and the 2 tiny culprit caterpillars are also in evidence!
