Didn't notice your post, andy. Hope you have a good day - forecast does look nice, which is good, as we have a houseful - most of my relatives are staying (16 including us - lucky we have lots of floor space).
I enjoy playing scrambles - we can get scores as good as you see on the telly (adimttedly by one player by himself)

Sir, hah, that happens very occasionally when I go shopping. My regular partner used to play off 28 but now has an inactive handicap, he only plays with me because I can tell him where his ball has gone! I also play frequently with guys who have handicaps of 12,16 and 20 I'm not a golf snob. I just enjoy playing.

The President, with whom I was playing yesterday, struggles to play to 27 - good golfers and good companions are not necessarily the same people.

Not that I was intending to imply that you wouldn't be a good companion, mrw!
