the easiest example of an &lit i've seen is,
Terribly evil(4) = vile

Terribly is the indiana and 'Terribly evil' is the definition.

...or is it,
Terribly vile(4) = evil?

I accepted 'see disruption' as the fodder, 'as' as the anagram indicator and 'fortuitous' as the def. I thought it worked vey well as did two other people. pastile's def. is also an adjective which was not the case with some other entries.

Thank you rambler... I wondered if "as" could work.

But as said I is still alearning...and do not mind any constructive critism

ok then, Pasty, i think those pants make your bum look big - huge in fact! :)
not sure about 'as' as an anagram indicator but hey, i liked your clue and most of all, i think it was cryptic and solvable without already knowing the answer.

I only came across this word when I came on this site and I at first, like mrs trellis thought it was a bit ugly sounding, with me also thinking it was pronounced like 'behind'
The reason I adopted it was that I have to write it out a lot in emails when sorting out the Joint Effort and writing 'anagrind' instead of 'anagram indicator' saves me 9 key strokes.
And that is about the only reason really.
