Think i have finished, had some help at the weekend with friends, good company, good weather, good food and drink and a very good crossword. Personal fave being 30 across a real head scratcher until some bright spark said the answer and a chorus of 'ahhhhhh' went up.

Cheers bobs mum

Rosalind, the splits are

Lady / prize winner gets fine review / at the museum. Not half!
Straight Def / Wordplay / Wordplay (half def)

Large marble / head / seen in good Parisian church

Straight Def / straight def / Wordplay

Hope that helps,
Well Rosalind, today's the day, I'm setting off now to the dentist to pick up my new smile.

See you all later, Les40.

Yes, Rosalind, marble as in moonies and chinas. "Good Parisian" should give it to you.

afternoon guys, tried the new teeth and they look really good, only thing is, they didn't quite fit (a bit loose) so he took another part impression and I have to go back next Tuesday to get them.... hopefully for the last time.

Glad you enjoyed the crossword, I will knock up a wordplay file today/tomorrow for checking off the triples in case anyone has got question marks still looming.

Hi Les, I got round to downloading it last night, did half before bed and finished it off over lunch. Last one in was 18a which needed a google on the definition. Once again a nicely intriguing puzzle - well done!
