The first series of "The Avengers" (with Honor Blackman - aka "Pussy Galore")took itself seriously - I think the Diana Rigg ones, which didn't, were classic television.

Yes, I'm not quite sure if any Diana Rigg ones were in colour. The Linda Thorson ones (and Joanna Lumley ones, of course) were, I think.

Some Diana Rigg ones I still rememeber vividly, even after all this time!

Yes, the later Dianna Rigg series were in colour.
