I'd have to get up pretty early in the morning to keep up with you, Joan, and you've got a five-hour head start. By the way, is a sharp cookie called a sharp biscuit over there?

aristo, I think you use 'sharp cookie' in an admiring way while we Brits don't like successful people (except those nutters on the BBC olympics programmes). We used to say 'clever boots' but now it's usually 'clever sod' or 'clever bugger' in a disparaging way. We usually mutter one of the latter when you solve a clue we don't get.:) :)
