...having a problem typing on this site today...2d starts with an A + another word for category with the end letter missing + a shortened version of a US state

sorry mislead you A plus another word for category with the last letter removed + I + a shortened US state

Opening guidebook to price jar. ?R?T?

Jar (verb) as in "jar the nerves"
opening of Guidebook = G + a synonym for "price"

Caravaggio. Thank you so much for your reply. When I first joined this Forum some years ago I was partly prompted by being intrigued by your choice of name! I have always liked your contributions and will certainly miss them, but I am glad to hear you are fit and well. Has Nimrod joined the Sat. Telegraph contributors too? I used to buy the Saturday Telegraph, perhaps I should resort to that as well.
