Only need 19ac to finish. It can really only be 'a few'. Cant really see any connection, other than 'a few good men', which St Peter was. Have considered the 'topless' angle from 8ac, but just can't connect. Also looked at Peter being a safe. I suppose topless safe gives the 'afe' in 'a few' Anyone else scratching their heads over this? Please say yes...
Cheers Al,
Really annoying when you can't get the three and four worders. However with your help I haven't scored an own goal and made a ham of myself.
As someone nearly said " You are not alone," I cannot find 3d) answer Al is suggesting Opod (I think).
I too have put in "a few" for 19a but only because it fits.
But I cannot convince myself about 21a) . Clue is - Clear wine(3). R?D.. It must be either Rid for clear or Red for wine.
Okay, here's my explanation for 19ac.
Bible, I Peter, Ch.3, v.20
"a few, actually eight in number, were saved through water."
So "8" has nothing to do with 8ac.!
What think ye?
Al Issner
