Your d is wrong. 5dn is the last word of the message, so it has to make sense with the rest of it. In 13ac, the definition is colour, "juice" is as in fuel and "fruity" as in a movie.

9a troop - poor t backwards
17a osier - os(very large) r(rook) that's = i.e. inside
39a ill-bred red- traffic light, bill - flying -anagram
