perhaps another cock up?

Both spellings are in my franklin spellchecker.

Think both are accepted spellings-

but in this case the 10 letter one may be correct, although Chambers gives "rigmarole".

the clue seems to fit the 9 letter version.
should have another "a" for the 10 letters,surely? ie
