I've actually driven through Vigata. The townspeople have renamed their ancient home! Well, I think it's hyphenated on the welcome sign: Porto Empedocle-Vigata, I believe.

Neglected to mention the lady's slipper, which has got to be the most erotic flower on God's earth.
