77 think of a racecourse plus a word for sailors and it makes a drink.
can't help with 43 as I need that myself.can you help with no's 56,61,31,84 please.

43. "you" is not in italics and the answer is not 5,5. the answer is a simple anagram.

"you" is in italics, but the answer is 9 letters, not 5,5.

there aren't any italics on the above copy/paste. but italics don't figure in the solution anyway.

Quizmad Phillip and silly boy.
Thanks for your help finished now.
Phillip on my copy (straight from horses mouth so to speak) the you was in italics but answer was 9 letters badly transposed onto my jog memory sheet!!
Silly boy thx for correction.
Quizmad some tips. 31 anagram less time (t)56. think animal farm not farm animal.
61. breed of heavy horse used in civil war.(obvious links when answer found)
84. literal meaning of someone who pretends to be a gentleman second meaning a posh drink third definition a type of horse. hope this helps. and thx to all for help.

on reading through my answers I find a question mark against my answer to no.37. The person coming after Esther on a horse appeared in the papers (3,7) I have put job hunting but dont get reference to appeared in the papers any help appreciated

I wasn't sure if it was hunters or hunting ,with reference to the papers it would be to do with the situations vacant column.

I think that you're right with Job Hunting.
Riding a horse would explain 'hunting' and, as you said, people who go job hunting might look through the Situations Vacant column in the paper.
