Thanks, rambler. I never went to an original radio recording but I did see the west end show recently. My wife did attend a recording in the 60s and says the warm up was more risqué than the actual show

aristo, I picked your clue because of the humor and hoped there would be more pubic triangles appearing in clues. My sign one was innocent and 'erect' only meant put up triangular topped road signs. The Julian and Sandy one was naughty....

Well THAT one was obvious, you old satyr. I did get the road-sign reference in the other, but assumed you were being your usual self. Appreciated your spelling of "humor" above; the Brit spelling is just so- you know, U.
