You've got one letter wrong in 21 A - three l;etter word for 'chap', minus the 1st letter, plus five letter word for demonstration, minus the 1st letter.

xwordfan -I wondered about that too, but haven't come up with anything. My answer fits and fits the other parts of the clue, so I just settled for it.

I have a problem with 10- D ?I?@ - and 17A- U@AM?, where @ is the overlapping letter in both answers. I have some thoughts but not very satisfactory ones.

Any HINTS, please?
