so how would you spell cagy?
I think both spellings are correct
ie.cagey

the other one is edgy,no E there surely?

But "dg" is always soft.

I agree about "cagy", but I would prefer "cagey"

I actually do not know the answer chrise but Chambers only gives one spelling of sagy and two of cagy,cagey.
The clue was obviously asking for sagy so we will have bow to their better knowledge.:)
