Finished, but with two questions regarding wordplay.
13a: Language, one that's taught in school but not at work (5). Answer is obvious, but don't get it.
11d: Trim beard, fine one (4). Ditto.
Braced for embarrassment, as usual.

Not quite sure, but I think beard can also mean .... to confront boldly .... to face.

Get that, but not "trim". Thought it might be something like facer with a letter lopped off.
