Hi all! Dja, Ari, Wendy, HelenB, Jazzg, Phillip and Tone AND for the very nice compliments, not quite deserved. Ye've got 'em all.
1. (charade) STANDS (bears) + FAST (go w/o food)
2. (homophone) TERN (@turn' taken in = homophone indic)
3. Complex anag(run) 'did a dry credit note' - ' identity card' = ODDER (=stranger)
4. (cryptic)
5. (cryptic) yours TRULY = me. truly = conatantly.

Hope you had some fun. Off to my "three-hour" dinner noe.

Bless all

Just to confirm that I only got three: 1,4 and 5 as I had nine for 2. No 5 came to me while waiting at the dentists, and I groaned at my inability to see it sooner - people waiting must have thought I had a really bad toothache. Excellent for the old grey cells as usual Jolan, many thanks

Thank you Ari, HelenB and Ixion for the kind comments. Hope the dentist-visit was a painless one Helen.
See you next week. Good night - pleasant dreams.
