Finished, but fail to see justification for the following (perhaps they're a little wrong,but I don't think so:can only see solution to definition part of clue in each case):
33a POINTEL for "Jerry's chip maker..."
16d PERMEATE for "Pass through a Maine channel not good"
28d IKAT for "Fabric from Indonesia one leaves"

Still struggling with three clues - found this puzzle really difficult:
13a: Am not for example,disheartened or nervous (5): an---;
3d: Tiny amount is in proportion without question (4): i--a. Can only be "iota", but why?;
4d: Sort of mess foremost in US?: m--se.
