Re post 19 the answer is also a fourwheeled carriage...

For No 19 my answer is an anagram of the first three words but don't think it is a four wheeled carriage. Going on hols in 2 weeks so wanted to finish the quiz before I go but ................ never mind, can always try again when I get back.

As you've clearly got the answer as Clarence (river in Australia) try googling clarence+ carriage. I just did to check and it looks sound.

Hi everyone- can any one give me a subtle clue for question 25 please:-
Force last couple of ladies to get on horseback to get to the waterway (6)

Could it be last couple of letters of ladies (es) tacked on to another word for a group (ie force) giving a sub continent river?

I thought every one must have finished this quizz as there has been no activity lately.
I am still struggling with 25.
Forced last couple of ladies to get on horseback to get to the waterway (6)
I did follow a clue from Ab (I think) but the answer I came up with was Ganges - and that did not seem to cover the horseback section of the clue. Any help would be appreciated.
