babs - are you sure about the letters you have? What are the cross clues?

I wondered about that to Paul because I thought it should be yobs but the n comes from the clue watchman sentry which I answered seNtinel

Real stretch here - if the first letter were to be 'h' as in (eg) beHolder it could then be HOLS but this would be exceptionally weak. Either way not great clueing from the setter!
